Frequently Asked Questions

Here are some of the most common questions potential residents and families ask us before applying for a place at one of our lovely homes. If you can’t find the answer here, feel free to give us a call or fill in the details and we’ll call you back when it’s convenient for you.

When a manager receives an enquiry they will arrange to go and visit the person at home/hospital and carry out a thorough assessment so that are able to determine  if the home can meet their needs. Once they have been assessed and the manager has offered them a place in the home there is then a lot of questionnaires to be completed regarding that persons choices and preferences.
The assessment is an ongoing process and the home will adapt the level of care they require depending on their needs.
Unfortunately as needs change we may find that the home is not suitable for someone but we will try everything we can with the help of different  health care professionals  to ensure that they stay with us for as long as possible.
Both homes are able to off End of life care, this may be with the assistance of District Nurses.

They vary from resident to resident depending on your specific needs, so once we’ve gone through your application, we’ll provide you with a quote.

Although it’s been a difficult time for residents and staff, all appropriate measures have been taken in accordance with Government guidelines.

New residents need to have a negative Covid-19 test and a 14-day isolation period following admission.
