What is this Privacy Notice for?
What we need
The Allandale Care Group Limited will be what is known as the ‘Controller’ of the personal data you provide. We may collect personal data about you in the course of our transactions with you.
Why we need it
We need your personal data in order to enable us to be satisfied that you can help us to discharge our obligations to provide good quality residential care services in accord with our contract. We will not collect any personal data from you we do not need to provide this service.
What we do with it
All the personal data we collect is processed by our staff in the UK and located on servers within the European Union. No 3rd parties will have access to your personal data unless the law allows them to do so.
We have a Data Protection regime in place to oversee the effective and secure processing of your personal data.
How long we keep it
We are required under UK law to keep your basic personal data (name, address, contact details) for a minimum of 6 years, after which time it will be destroyed unless there are legitimate reasons for longer retention eg disputes, ongoing transactions.
What are your rights?
If at any point you believe the information we possess about you is incorrect, you may request to see it. You may also request to have it corrected or deleted. If you wish to raise a complaint as to how we have handled your personal data, you may contact our Office who will investigate the matter.
If you are not satisfied with our response, or believe we are not processing your personal data in accordance with the law you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
